Closed Captions Brought to you by…

Hello family and friends!

I have been very busy keeping up with school work, so I apologize for the lack of blogging. However, I am going to tell you all what I did this week for my research fellowship.

Since Cassie and I worked very hard to get all the videos edited and uploaded to youtube. We both have had concerns about closed captions because we wanted to videos to be accessible to everyone. So that is what I began working on this week. I have done captions on video before, so it wasn’t anything too new for me. The first video that I edited was for Dr. Anderson’s for Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy. The thing with this video was that it didn’t have an automatic version of captions so I had to start from scratch.

I preferred starting from scratch because it was easier to type all of the words myself instead of finding all that was wrong in the captions.

So if you ever watch a video for Full Spectrum Learning, make sure to watch it with captions.

Thanks for reading!
